i have sold my turbo viper. Loved the sled but did get a bit sick of the weight. I am looking at the Polaris XCR, XRS 850 and the sidewinder LE. The idea of going to a 2 stroke is not very exciting. What are the guys that now have the Sidewinder LE thinking of it?
I have a 2014 10,000 miles and no issues. Starter kick back once and a while. Blew front rest shock at 9000 miles. Added turbo with 7000 miles. Be a great sled. Will put on another 4000 miles this year and will deal it. Sidewinder next or a Pro S
Hi Guys!
I have a viper with the MPI trail kit. This sled is now almost perfect for me. I am thinking of adding the inner cooler upgrade to it. Does any one with experience with this kit know how much it will improve it? Only thing I don't like about the current set up it is very sensitive...
also going to be called the sidewinder. We shall see March 1st. I am very happy with my Turbo Viper for now, But I will be buying this new sled after it has a year under its belt. I usually buy a 1st model year, but not this time!
rumour has it that it's a cat chassis, 4 cylinder turbo 200 hp. They did a photo shoot just down the road from me on the weekend. Guess we will know for sure March 1st.
Not sure really. I know that less spring tension will allow the secondary to open up faster. When the snow is soft And mushy 3-3 is a good setting as it allows it to shift out faster and help stop track spin.
My buddy has the 2016 with Turbo, we have done about 400 km this year. All is good and no issues. I have 2014 with turbo and we are dead even until the top end where he starts to pull away. These sleds are great don't worry just drive it. Yamaha will stand behind it!
Well I bought a new Axys 800. I have 210 miles on it and BOOM! Something let go and the motor is junk. Dealer is putting in a new motor. Thank god I kept the Viper. Never have I been let down with Yamaha. Say all you want but here is the truth
Yes they will cover it. Mine did the same thing at the end of the season last year. I took it in this fall and no questions. The new one is way better.
