I ran 1.25 studs last year on a one inch[9830 track].I add 3/16 to the tunnel protectors and it only nicked the heat shield which you should remove anyway.the sled launched like a bear.rx-1s need traction.
yesterday morning was very frosty here.the groomed trail was loose on top but the snow was very crisp.my 04 shorty has 150 miles on it.my sliders were sticking bad.

nos-pro 100lbs is about 1/10 of a sec for a car. 60-70 lbs on a sled is a much bigger difference percentage wish.you ran 11.17 and he ran 10.99.even up the weight and you would be very close. angleboy

nospro: I hope you get a chance to play with different gearing as I plan to gear down my 04 rx-1 to 23/39 or 23/40 and I usually race about a quarter of a mile.
I geared my rx-1 er down to 23/38.it helped acceleration and I didn't lose any top end.did anyone try 23/39 or 23/40.I want the best acceleration in 1/4 mile and I am thinking that gearing down more will help.what do you guys think?
