I stretched mine to a 136" with the backcountry 1.75 last summer and would never go back to anything else. This set up is great for the trails and off trail in the deep stuff. I ride 90% of the time on groomed trails.
How can I tell if my maps are autotune ? I am running a map that ulmer put in for my setup , I was under the impression that the auto tone just needed to be plugged in and it would automatically communicate with the PCV.
Excel 6 wheels. With 121" track I had 3700 miles and sliders still could probably go another 2000 miles. Now I have a 136" with backcountry 1.75 track . After 800 miles the slider are showing hardly any wear. Snow conditions have been some light and some fluff.
If you pm your number I will tell her to call you next time I talk to her. I will also be contacting Gore Tex and see what they think about the material wearing the way it did.
Upei93 my wear marks are in the same spots as yours in the pictures. Did you put a warranty claim in to Klim ? I spoke with a manager today and she claims mine is the only warranty claim with wear marks like yours and mine.
Three years ago I bought all new Klim gear. I bought new bibs, jacket, boots, gloves and a mid-layer top and bottom. I have been happy with the gear until this year after my second ride of the year when I noticed my bibs had a wear hole in them in two different spots. I also noticed my gloves had...
After a couple of hours for the last three weekends I have finally finished installing my 136" backcountry 1.75 track with track USA rail extension and tunnel extension. I have been wrenching on sleds for 15 years , but this is my first ever track install. The install went well , except getting...
I have the header and can. At idle it's sounds like stock, but when you get on it it sounds good. Beware the weld joints on the header look like a six year old welded the header. After two seasons my header cracked at all the weld joints.
Thanks guys. I will be doing the extension tomorrow. This is my last step in doing the extension kit. Every thing has gone pretty smooth so far thanks to the guys on this site. :rocks:
I am working on installing a track USA 136" tunnel extension and have a couple questions for the guys who have done one. Do you need to use a pneumatic rivet gun to install new rivets ? Do you have to mount the rear bumper to the extension piece of metal or will the bumper fit in the original...
Will I mess anything up if I change my weights in my clutch while my chain case is apart doing A track swap. I am waiting for some parts thanks to the snow in buffalo they are taking longer than I wanted. I pretty sure the answer is no but I wanted to double check.
Thanks for the help guys. I will be taking it to a local shop to get it welded. I'm hoping to get another year out of it then I will be purchasing a QUALITY header. I did email MBRP and have not received a reply or phone call yet.
