I have an 08 rtx. Has a pipe k&n and pc5. Any clutching ideas? Looks like the stock clutching is in the sled right now. Not sure how it works right now, just wondering if anyone has any ideas or tips without breaking the bank. Thanks guys.

Call Chris at schimdt brothers Have used him for the last 4 years .The man knows what he is doing has a lot of setups .
Without breaking the bank, cheapest kit is probably Drag n flys from Supertorquer systems..aka heel clickers...I can give you the black spring set up and guarantee you will be happy...just a primary spring and weights and pulls hard!

- 2008 Yamaha FX Nytro 136, mountain fit vent kit, oft steering relocate, mountaintech skid plate, simmons flexi skiis with 6 dual runners, skinz front bumper, DDM Tuning HID lights, 55 watt ballasts with 4300k bulbs.
All done in one season.
That's is so far but much more on plate for this year!

What are the spring rates?
I think bender sells the kit for $240. Not of the black spring...400/140 I think. I just know it worked well

I will second Ulmers kit! I've had the drag n flies and 2 speeds but not even close to overall performance gain and help tuning it from Allen. Ulmers kit 100%

You have already put the expensive stuff on. Why cheap out on a clutch kit. Just pull the trigger on a full clutch kit and don't look back. You won't regret and you don't have to spend hours clutch tuning. Just install, run, pull or add a weight or two, and you're done.

Ulmer here also. He sells a kit complete, with what you bought so far and the clutch kit to match. Might as well talk to him about your riding style, and what you expect. That way he knows if there should be a gear change also....
