Thanks, I am not sure, just read the manual, they have a separate charge setting for Cold Temps or AGM batteries, and from what I understand it send out a slightly higher Voltage.
I'll just keep it set at the Normal setting and go from there. Thanks guys.
So I just picked up a Noco Genius 3500 Battery charger/Tender, and it has 2 different settings for charging/maintaining smaller Batteries. first is Normal(most battery types except AGM), second setting is Cold/AGM.
I was hoping that someone would know for sure, without having to rip the sled...
Glad to hear your buddy is ok, but from the Pics it really looks like he would have been able to see that gap from a good wayt out? Or was there a hill just before it? Anyways hope the Fix is easy, and glad everyone was ok. This time of year always gotta be careful, runoff from warm days, and...
Nice pics! great looking conditions for sure. I am headed out next weekend, Taking a few days off work, and getting a nice 4 day weekend in, for what will probably be my last days of riding also. Deff getting warmer around here, we got about a foot, but in 3-4 wks it will be mostly all gone...
The Quebec trail pass includes liability insurance, so @ $30 /month(360/year) that is a bargain in Que. I used to ride Ontario @ $100/pass and the trails haven't changed since. :drink: :die[/quote
I pay less than 10$/mnth for Liability Ins in Ont, and be careful with the Ins from the Que...
at 210 for a season its not too bad in my opinion. But need to buy it early. I did register for the try our trails and was out for 2-3 hrs yesterday. Was good, my issue is no one to ride with around here, Would consider a pass next year, but only if I have some buds who also pick up a pass...
Venture for a dual purpose, but if you need something to truely do some work then the Viking for sure, they are basically an ATV on Ski's. A tank to Ride tho, They are not meant to be a fun ride.
My Dad had an older Venture last season, and it is a fun sled, you can pull a sleigh without...
Rebuild would likely be cheaper than a new skid, and have heard that the Mono Skid is great skid, esp when shocks are revalved. Sounds like you would need shock maintenance, so might as well have it rebuild and revalved.
But all depends what you want, and your budget.
If the belt still squeals after you clean it, check the Shims on the back side of the secondary clutch, may have too many shims in, which makes the belt squeal on engagement. There are 3 bolts on the back side with washers for shims of the secondary.
Not sure of the 11-13's are the same, as the previous year Apex
s...but you may need to remove the tunnel protectors to get a 1.75" track in there. that being said, I took my Dad's Backcountry Renegade X for a tour in some unbroken trails this past weekend, and WOW that track hooks up!! I am...
4. Upgraded torsion bar
Do you mean Sway bar with this one?
I would try tightening the limiter strap by 1, should put more weight on the ski's and may help with this. Just a thought.
Thanks, they have a Direct replacement for the Yamaha ones, but they are 6.50 each, I am pretty sure that OEM are cheaper than that from Xtremepowersports.
I am thinking that even the longer ones from Royal may not work...but I am not really willing to drop 65 bux plus shipping to replace...
