Cruising along this morning my buddy came around a corner and went straight into a washout at about 30km/h. Luckily we were just cruising so no injuries. He went over the handlebars and did a really nice roll when he landed. :) Ended our day early though. Most of the front plastics are toast and windshield. Bent his handlebars and there is something wrong with the right ski. Haven't figured it out yet but it doesn't sit flat on the ground anymore. We were able to get home on it though.

Bent subframe is very likely...could be pricey. Fortunate he wasn't hurt.

Good that your buddy didn't get hurt, that's the important thing.

Well there's your problem! ;)!

Glad to hear your buddies alright!

Wow that sucks. Glad everyone is ok, there is a washout just like that in the up in a trail. I would bet its a bent subframe or nun ad doo calls it. If he keeps the sled it is fixable but a ton of rivets and a summer project. If he does fix it tell him to the 440 bracing for the new nun, it makes them a ton stronger, kinda like the sub frame gussets for the nytro.

Glad to hear your buddy is ok, but from the Pics it really looks like he would have been able to see that gap from a good wayt out? Or was there a hill just before it? Anyways hope the Fix is easy, and glad everyone was ok. This time of year always gotta be careful, runoff from warm days, and a few feet of snow can make for unpredictable conditions...

If ski just doesnt sit flat he may have just bent the Carbide. Those kind of crashes are the ones that really wake you up at night.Glad he is okay.

Where were you?

I notice you are from grimsby area.

Some sections of trail are going yellow around here and not sure if its due to stuff like this? Even though a major thaw has not hit in the last few days.
