I mean i could not hit 100 mph with stock can but with the osp can i could. most i had it up to before was 94 mph from what i seen. pleased with that performance.
OSP can install
I installed the OSP can i dont wanna blow my motor any advice would be appreciated. i got missing happening when i hit wide open throttle through the rpm range when its really pulling. will it dial itself in or does the ecm need some mapping?
I installed an OSP can and yes they are loud but sound amazing!! although the motor is missing when hitting wide open throttle at diff places through the rpm range, after 80 miles it seemed to run better but not completely. Does it need some mapping or is the ecm going to adjust as i ride more...
I noticed u have a mountain grab bar on the handlebar did it come with it or did you add that, mine didnt come with one would like to put one on
thanks
even sealing it off wont do anything as its wide open for the air to come through the front of that shield and under the hood.
keep me posted, thanks guys.
it wasnt from the rad, its coming in from the exhaust loop/tunnel and the shield and then gettin into engine compartment and coming through the goggle vent behind the windshield and not just a little it blanketed me with frost. never got any snow in the rad as we were running 60-80 mph on the...
09 Nytro, got my pic on how it looks on the exhayst side by the reverse servo. read up yzm450 had the same thread, also take a look at my pic and let me know if yours is mounted the same way... looks to me like its mounted right. and it was def not sloppy superfletch it was an awesome ride...
Yamadog, i was riding with three others and none had this problem. they all felt this is strange and were not impressed. yes they were riding diff sleds, but i didnt pay what I did to have sled steam like that through all vents of the hood. next time it happens i will be posting pics.
I dont like that the exhaust runs under the tunnel by the heat exchanger for cooling and isnt sealed off, heres a pic of what i mean. last Saturday i rode 60-80 mph on the river with 6-8"s of fresh powder. when i stopped i noticed my suit/sled/goggles all frosted up from all the steam coming out...
the way they have designed the exhaust to run under the tunnel for cooling and not sealing/shielding it off from the engine compartment is going to cause huge problems when running higher speeds and in powder when its nail biter cold. Like i did on a river run last Saturday. I have some pics but...
The heat exchanger mounted at the front of the tunnel on the machine is a horrible Idea. wait till you ride it on a lake or river with alot of powder then stop ur sled. It will be steaming up like u been riding up behind an exhaust pipe all day in cold weather not to mention try and keep ur...
I couldn't start mine for the life of me until i had it warm up about 45 mins in my shop. its was around -28c would crank well but wouldn't fire. this was before my first 100 miles, after the 119 miles i would cycle the key/pump 3-4 times and it would start right away. Once warm starts every...
