I think the prices are here for a while even though they’re outrageous. Supply issues aren’t going away. Maybe 20 percent inflation? Going to be high interest rates. None of it is good. It’s the same with everything though I guess now.
Pay cash or keep the older sleds. 2017 is close to...
I agree. This is why a clutch kit doesn’t work and a tuner make make a sled work. Conditions change and so does everything else.
I can run an aggressive clutch setup for hard pack that is very fast and then go out to loose snow and spin and over shift and have a turd.
I wish there was a good...
Trail rode it. Was stock and like I said you can believe what you want. F1000 was a tank compared to cfr.
I do my own work.
We broke the 140 mark in 1000 ft first on a z1 in 10, Glenn rode it. I trail rode that sled 1500 miles that year. That had 28/71 turbo on it though so not stock. Had...
That’s fair to guess
I think the top end will surprise you on the boost but time will tell????
I have some friends that say the same thing as xp on the 900r. They also own 998s.
They’re all good. Just depends on your preference.
I use a dragy today
I had a cfr1000 in 09 along with a z1 turbo. The z1 turbo was slow stock and then we finally got our boondocker and then they were not. We all hooked up with Glenn Hall on little st germain because he had all the goodies already so we got to see the potential. My Z1 ran...
Polaris turbo next year most likely
4 stroke none the less
Looses over 100. 2 examples of 2 strokes I’ve owned that would mph well over 100. Firecat and cfr are 1000 stock. My cfr ran 122 mph in 1320 stock (unless reshimmed primary and weights make it not stock)and then it would snap a belt...
Well
I’ll have Knapp video this winter.I have already talked to him about running up anyway because most people are interested in seeing how these things run. I for one. On paper it makes sense. We will see right?
I own and race my own sleds and don’t read about them in magazines.
More just...
That’s fine and you have a right to your own opinion. We race on hard pack and if you think chisels don’t matter I guess your opinion is great also! Lol
It’s all hype. Hahaha
I emailed you back on the gap flasher but it’s a hurricane one. Also have the aem afr module to go with it.
Thanks
I’m just telling you what we have seen. Nothing to advertise.
We don’t run that far so I don’t know?
Let’s say 850 runs 9.1in 1000 ft
Boost runs 8.8 ish
Speculation purely
But if you know two strokes, 10 percent more hp is a lot
they are all trailable sleds
Not slammed and we race in snow
Most sleds we ride are 1/2 inch or more of stud hanging past lug.
Run what you bring and that’s how it goes.
I am comparing apples to apples here when it come to 850 n/a against stock Tcat we own. You cannot make up the holeshot loss...
