Didn’t you beat the sled that won that.
The old 1100 from down here.
That’s not a real race. It’s only 660 ft.
Winner ran 127 on the snow. Not bad but old sled.
Wasn’t much there this year since outlaws were in Rice lake.
You can race in any class you want too.
We race on the side too and that’s what I was talking about.
No tech and no excuses ya know

What are we talking about here?
Drag race prepped sleds or sleds that are ridden all day long to the bar.
There's a difference.

Mine is a trail sled so no need to bring out the 500 hp sled unless you can go out and put a couple hundred miles on it.You ride in up
We can hook up and see
I will have 1.63 triggers or 1.86 in the middle on my sled
If you spin you ain’t going to win
Maybe we can unload the firecat to play with the 500 hp sleds

The 1100 that won that race could be trail ridden all day. Just a magic turbo. Nothing special.
Change the tune in the vipec and go.
As far as the boost goes. I’ll meet up to race anyone who wants in n wi or up.
No hard feelings just for a good time.
Might as well change the subject that “might” be worth the race. Obviously from all your comments the skidoo is not. Maybe Polaris isn’t either. We will find out

Everything is being talked about. That's what great about the boost. It brings back competition and discussion that I haven't seen since the first year the 800ho on the axys came out. So many bench racers were wondering how they would do against the skidoo. What are we talking about here?

I have to bust some of your balls back. No hard feelings. I’m excited to see and hope this poo turd is fast.
Honestly my son is 12 this year so with the 7s I can see we’re he is. I like the tech on them.
I’m rooting for cat to come with new and I’d buy one.
These sleds are fun to tune. 2 stroke is probably easier to blow up. That’s ok because it’s more of a challenge and that’s my own choice. The 998 is a bad mama jamma tuned no doubt.
Have fun and we can hook up next year for some lake smack talk! All in fun

I don’t own a Mach so maybe that’s why I was never brazen. I never received any reality check and that’s probably because I don’t own a Mach. I never quivered or trembled in terror or had to breath into a brown paper bag to thwart an anxiety attack and that’s probably because I don’t own a Mach. I do however own a 900r powered Renegade that beat my old Winder several times on snow in shorter distances this past Winter. Both sleds are totally stock and the distances were around a 1/4 mile. The speeds we hit were around 115 speedometer 108 gps so not real top speed runs but that’s as long a run we had. I don’t know how they would do in a long lake run and I won’t speculate but my findings are similar to what others have experienced. The 900r is faster from a dead stop than a stock Winder Up to a 1/4 mile. After that I don’t know but this is my experience.I kinda like videos like this, as it will make the new boost owners more brazen and provide us with some fresh meat to fleece. The Mach Z owners were brazen at the beginning of winter too, until they all received a reality check. Now when Mach Z owners meet a winder, they quiver and tremble in terror and have to breath into a brown paper bag to thwart an anxiety attack.

My
The magazine have even said in reports , throttle response is slow , and isn't as fast as the Sidewinder testing at the 2023 sled release.
The video is a sales pitch from speedwerx , so when guys phone them next December, they can turn around and sell them something.
That's the same with my 22 LE , race is over after 40ft .My buddy has a 22 vr1 matrix 850.
Every time he lined up with me I left him from the start and just kept pulling away.
Even doing a roll on at any speed I would just walk away from his 850.

If you got beat with a 270 hp tune , you need to have someone else set your sled up . And good luck with a underpowered Polaris if you have problems beating guys now .None
Its not fake. The problem I have run into as stated above is the quickness. My 270 hp Tcat got beat over and over at st germain by stock 850s. I came off trail and side raced with them. They leave so hard out of the gate there wasn’t time to real them in. Put chisels in and changes game. I don’t trail ride with chisels.
The 850 n/a I had this year would be 3-4 lengths ahead of our stock Tcat and it couldn’t catch the 850 by 1000 ft.
Traction with the 280 tuned tcats and they where 3-4 lengths ahead at 1000. The 850 is close to 100 in 660.
Is what it is

Joe, I believe you. But I also believe you two stopped trailside and lined up like two buddies with nothing better to do.The 900r is faster from a dead stop than a stock Winder Up to a 1/4 mile.
To be honest, a win is a win.
And that's your reality. I completely understand.
I wouldn't race anyone unless I was on hard packed surface.
My sled is night & day difference.
Made two Polaris 850's look pitiful, from the dig, a month ago.
And I've had 850's try to lure me into a race on powder. I'm being honest....it don't go good. Lol.

I never had a chance to race any 850’s Joe because I don’t ride with any 2 strokes anymore. It might sound funny but everyone I ride with has 4 strokes now. I did however race a couple big mouth 850 e tech owners back when I first got my Winder and it was close to start but I pulled them bad midrange and up.Joe, I believe you. But I also believe you two stopped trailside and lined up like two buddies with nothing better to do.

I’m not really into racing anymore and truthfully I don’t care who is faster. All I really care about is the corner to corner performance and if it satisfies me when I hit the throttle. If my 900r only tops out at 110 I will be totally satisfied as long as it gets there quickly. My sled checks all my expectation boxes so I’m happy.
The only reason for racing my old Winder was out of curiosity just to see how they compare having owned them both. We raced on a hard packed groomed field so it wasn’t in powder. The 900r is surprisingly quick with excellent throttle response. I wouldn’t go out of my way to race anything these days but since I ride with my old Winder it was convenient.

Plus what are you racing on? Glare ice? Also, these 850's are trail sleds with trail heights, not slammed down and gear for only 600ft? Plus mapped for only 660. Big difference there...Now there’s your problem. Gotta run chisels with that much hp .game changer

He's not answering when it relates to trail sleds. If these sleds cant trail ride without making changes, then this conversation means nothing....Mine is a trail sled so no need to bring out the 500 hp sled unless you can go out and put a couple hundred miles on it.
