Well you could pull the entire skid and check over everything at the same time. Bearings, wheels sliders, etc. Or you could use a floor jack near front of the skid to compress it and change the strap that way. I would pull the skid and take a look at everything. Not really that hard to pull a...
You figure out your issue. I had a similar issue in my 09. It turned out to be the front drive shaft slipping. Dealer thought servo motor, front diff, ecu. I took the video to show them the sound then we were able to reproduce it at the shop. You could see other drive shaft slipping . It's...
I broke the same shock mount last year. Mine let go and also caused my jackshaft bearing to go. I didn't have any wear on the rails though. I believe AD Boivin has a steel sift instead of the aluminum one. I found this out after I order a replacement aluminum one. I did have some slider wear...
Well boys I bought a 2010 Arctic Cat Sno-Pro cross country racer 600. Looking to extend the track put this thing flat out works for the type of riding that I'm doing here now. Going to throw a 136 or 144 backcounrty track on it this summer and clutch kit from speed werks. Fun sled.
The 03 RX-1 Mnt has given me around 10000 trouble free KM total on the sled around 15000 KM. I moved from some of the nicest groomed trails in Northern Ontario (Kapuskasing) to a no trail system area Thunder Bay. All the riding that we are doing around here is off trail, boon docking, ditch...
Done deal. I'm sled less right now hopefully the deal tomorrow works out. ANd I have to agree with both of you I really liked trail riding but at times it was boring and I had to get off the trail and go and explore. I told the new owner to check out this site. I left the Totally Yamaha...
$3300 seems fair price with the mods I have but I also have 15400 km on the sled. I was asking $4000 willing to take 3500 but since the season is coming to an end I didn't want to sit on it all summer over $200.
Yup sled is up for sale I have a tentive deal in the works hopefully it will be a done deal by tomorrow. It took a total of 2 days I put an add on Kijiji on Monday. The new owner is going to be using it as a slush killer, ice fishing machine. I will likely still be wrenching as the sled Im...
After reading Phazernut's post I thought I would reuse his title. I'm swithcing brands also. The 03 RX-1 Mnt has given me around 10000 trouble free KM total on the sled around 15000 KM. I moved from some of the nicest groomed trails in Northern Ontario (Kapuskasing) to a no trail system area...
Gotta a agree I have an 03 rx1 Mnt sled that I used to run 50/50 trail, off trail. I have moved to a different area of the province that doesn't have any groomed trials. I'm really feeling the weight of the old RX1. I'm thinking of upgrading to a nytro but from what I've read I would be...
My 03 burns oil. I also get blow by during high speed runs. I remember reading about putting a small cut in the hose inside the air box this aparently helps. Creates some kind of vacuum Once the oil light comes on it takes at least a liter to bring it back up.
