I have them on 06 GT. Work great, but do interfear a little with hook. I might look at some adapter in the summer. But when it's cold I can deal with it.
I can usually tighten one side then loosen other and play the game back and forth. Is there a way to keep the shaft from rotating? I was going to try a vise grip on the plastic spacer?
Any suggestions?
I bought a set last year. The hook on my bars does not allow the best mounting. I need to do a little engineering on them before I think they will work to my liking.
I took my suspension out to get powder coated, rebuilt, etc. a couple months ago. I took alot of pics and marked were the cable ties were but forgot to take one of the wire running from tunnel to arm. If anyone has a picture or make a sketch I would appreciate it. My dealer does not have a GT on...
Nice job on the flames! I powder coated my suspension and rails black and just installed. Did you take any pictures or make a diagram of the wire routing from the the tunnel to the swing arm. I took picures of everything but that! I don't remember if it goes under or over the top
I shimmed stock ski's with Bergstrom good and ugly last year and it helped darting. I am trying 6" shaper bars this year for more bite in the corners. If anyone has tried shaper bars with shim, let me know how it worked out.
I think I found the problem: NOTE!!! Do Not Use 28mm (1.103') and 108mm (4.25") for MONO.
This was not on the post I saved!
TECH SECTION POST
For the mono shock skid use:
8CR-47550-10 (wheel)
90387-2013L (spacer which is 4.379" long)
90387-20015 (spacer which is .972" long)
I...
I have the skid out. I double checked the 28 mm and the 108 mm. They are right on.
The problem is the orignal "short" spacer is only 25 mm (vs. 28 mm on the modified one) and the center tube at 108 mm does not leave the new 4th wheel with the same dimension from the rail to the wheel on each...
I followed a post on cutting my long spacer tube into two pieces. One at 28mm and one at 108mm. Something is not right! The 108mm looks short and the 28mm to long. Anyone have a link to the correct mod or am I missing something? :o| :o|
I bought the trail pro package from HyGear and Ross said to put the stock one back on so I have a 12 mm bar for sale. I didn't think it was any rougher and seemed to flaten out the front. The function of "stiffness" is relative to the moment of inertia of a bar. Which factors in the diameter to...
Wouldn't a limiter strap like on the nytro limit the forward to back coupling.
I am not talking about the front arm limiter strap.
A set of stop blocks like on other brands might be an effective substitute.
