how many miles are attak owners getting out of their hyfax? i've got about 1200 on my 07 attak, they look they are at the wear spot or further in the front. how are they to change?

I have been getting about 100 miles a set, depends on conditions, changing is no sweat!

We have been getting a bunch of Yamaha guys lately ordering billet wheels, and they always want the larger front wheels to prevent the hyfax wear....so not only do they look awsome, they serve a purpose....

2000 MILES WHEN I CHANGED MINE, NO PROB TO CHANGE GET THEM STARTED SO THEY STICK OUT THRU THE TRACK WINDOW PUT IT IN REVERSE & DON'T STAND IN FRONT OF THE SLED.

Pretty much sums it up for me too. I did cut a track window just a bit wider so the slider would go in and out easier, and I spray 'em with some silicone so they slide through easier. The reverse trick is the bomb!

At 1,900 miles, mine were worn right to the line up front at the curve, that was the worst spot, so I tightened the limiter strap one hole.

i get 800-1200 miles out of a set. have the slide sticking out of the window put the sled in reverse and give it some gas and the track will peal the slide off

Does it have to be on the jackstand or on the ground when you do this, or doesn't it matter? THAT sounds like a really cool trick!!! ;)!
