IF you are close to Daves shop the best way is with the Tuning bike module that Dave has. I just mapped mine this past weekend with his stage 3 injectors and it is silly sick now!!! HUGE difference!! Well worth the time I spent there!!
Powderlites is really on top of the RB3!!

I spent the weekend dialing in my Powderlites Apex with the RB3 this past weekend with Dave and the gang at Powderlites. All I can say is if anyone is on the fence about what kit to install let me tell you they go wayyyyyyy beyond normal to make your sled run well.
Our day on Friday started...
What size oil restrictor is everyone using?? What size gives the proper flow? I seached but could not come up with any of the threads that this was discussed in last year about using jets drilled out to a certain size.
Any links would be great.

It is a shim that is added under the head to lower compression. Lower compression allows you to typically run more boost per octane of fuel with out the dreaded detonation. That is the general idea.......
I just went back and did this on my Apex. Got a thinner shim and installed a full gasket on either side. Total thickness is still the same but it should seal better. splitting them with spray didn't last form me.
They got mine working as well. Pretty good response. They had to write a new program for my specific phone to work. Took them only a couple of days and I'm in business!!
How did you check to see what "firmware" you had? I got one of the first rapid bikes from Dave at Powderlites and mine seems to work.
My problem is the PDA phone I have will not allow me to make changes to the map screen.
I hope you can get it fixed.....
Mine will not work with the SMT 5800 PDA phone(Verizon wireless) I just got either. It will load the software and connect with the Blue tooth but it will not allow me to scroll through the map boxes at all.... This will not allow me to make any changes...
Seems like a user interface issue...
