3 years of trails in Northern Alberta and mountains in Chetwyn BC and no problems. Broke the right side one time. Hit a huge rock, sled flipped right in air and landed upside down. The only damage was splintered A arms on right side, they held out enough to get back up the river hills and to the...
I previously had an RX1 and the Apex is a world of difference compared to that, and the Nextech A-arms probably make just about that much difference on the Apex. 3 years no problems, they have been awesome. Myself find the Nytro lighter etc. But still ptefer my Apex. And wouldn't own one without...
2006 apex with 10lbs boost, MPI Supercharger and I'm tempted to change fuel controller. Currently running the original GEMS box but I'm not that happy with it. I was looking at a power commander 3, RB3, Boondocker, etc. I would espeically like a closed loop system (set and forget) but not sure...
Yeah I changed throttle cable the other day and I have it a little too tight I think, because it started only after I did that. Just have to readjust it, no big deal.
  Thanks Ted and everyone else for the advice, I got it installed and tried it out today. IT WAS AWESOME!!! Works like a charm, the most fun I ever had with it. THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE! :jump: :yam:
I have a 2006 Apex Mountain that runs on at midrange when your light on the throttle just like the cable is sticking. It only does it when you feather the throttle, if you hit the throttle in a snap like method it idles down fine. I changed Cable, no help. I checked secondary thinking it might...
Been running them for 2 seasons and no problems they've been great. Broke the left side by smashing into a HUGE rock on the river, sled did an endo and landed upside down. A-arms were splintered but held up enough to limp it to the top of the banks to a roadside where we could load it up. If I...
Fuel settings
Thanks for the info. guys, especially Hammer I was looking for this info. By the way tried it out using ulmer's settings in the field and our airport in the field and it went great. Tommorow I'm getting my bung put in the exhaust for the O2 sensor (my mig buggered up) I can then...
I was wondering if anyone knows a good base set of readings for the fuel controller. Altitude is 1850ft and the sled is a 2006 Apex mountain. Ulmer clutching, MPI supercharger stage 1 22/26 pulleys 10 lbs.boost. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have Ulmer's settings but there for sea...
On a bypass valve, the clear plastic line on the spring side of the diaphram is connected to where? It is a Vortech Bypass valve on a Stage 1 MPI Supercharger on a 2006 Apex mountain. This is about the only part of the install I'm not sure about. Could anyone help me out PLEASE. Only thing...
About to install a MPI Supercharger stage 1 on a 2006 Apex mountain. Kit has a bypass valve installed and will be running it at about 1850 ft and about 6500ft once in a while, 99% at 1850ft. Just wondering if anybody has any pointers to let me know about, Espeically tuning tips. Also have two...
Not sure which way to go? Super or turbo, I'm not after crazy HP's. 200-220hp at 1850ft and 240-260hp@ 8000ft. This is on a 2006 Apex , fuel needs not a concern. Was considering Hartman supercharger or MCX turbo, stage 1 for both. I have about 70 lbs gone with 35lbs more to go.(Timbersled MTN...
