GT rear shock upgrade?? Need Help

GT Rear Shock I also had the same problem with my GT sagging like an old ladies....., well you get the point. I pulled my skid, replaced my center shock with a revalved HPG from a 07 X-package Rev and a beefed up spring. For the back shock I installed a fox remote res Zero-X shock that I had...

    Code 81 !!!

You do not have to purchase the conectors but if you want to you can pick them up at the dealer. What you can do is just shove the resistor into the plug and just tape it in place. Just make sure that it makes a good connection. Cheers :drink:

    Code 81 !!!

You can buy the resistors at the Source or you can pick them up at any hobby store. You can do at couple of things in regards to installing them. One requires a little more work and involves a semi-perminant result and the other requires little to no modification. 1. You can cut off the plug...

    Code 81 !!!

Resistors Code 81 is for the hand warmers circuit (open or shorted). You can add resistors from any electronics store into the circuit to make code go away. Make sure that you add the right sized resistors into the circuit. If you do not you run the risk of increasing/decrease your current flow...

    Broke My Sled in Half

I am working on the pics, my sled is at home in Glencarin Ontario and I am in Winnipeg Manitoba on Buisness for the next couple of weeks. When I get back I will post some pictures. :drink:

    Broke My Sled in Half

These are the actual components that I broke, it was not the tubular frame that broke but the support panels. I talked to my dealer today and they are $500.00 per side, plus the rivets and the bearings. It is going to be an expensive lesson, that I am more then likely not going to learn from...

    Broke My Sled in Half

Well, I did it. I managed to break my new phazer in half this weekend (good thing it was the end of the season). I was jumping the hell out of it off of a large drift located at the top of a hill. A 15 foot drop later and about a 20 foot launch and presto, I have a 12" crack on both sides of the...

    Squeeky Beast

Greasing Bushings If those bushings are polyerathane, normal patrolium based grease will eat through them and they will fail prematurely (had it happen in a lot of cars). With polyerathane bushings you have to use a silicone based lubercant. I am not sure what bushings are in there. Just some...

    Trick to stop ever heating.

[ Just read in Snow tech you can't use bubble type testers on the long life coolant in phazers(they may only be talkin about 08, not sure) and when I run water wetter in my dirtbikes its a stand alone product, they say water or other types of coolant take its cooling ability out. Any ELC...

Act of "Goodwill" until the end of Feb.

I took my machine to Parkway Yamaha in Collingwood Ontario. It is right off highway 26, they are a good bunch of guys. Another dealer that I have had great success with is Mcgregor Sports in Bobcaygeon. Cheers!

    twist throttle?

On my old sled my wife found it hard and tiring to use the thumb throttle. I thought about installing a twist throttle because she had ridden dirt bikes before and liked how the throttle was on them. Then I factored in the; what if she panics or hits a rock or stump and twists the throttle. So I...

    Trick to stop ever heating.

How did you know it was 100%? You can check the concentration with a refractometer which measures the specific gravity of the coolant. You do not want to have a mix greater then 60/40. You start to loose cooling efficanticy if you go any higher and any lower then 50/50 and it will more then...

Act of "Goodwill" until the end of Feb.

I took my 07 phazer GT into the dealer to have its first oil change and inspection (1000 km). I came back in two hours to pick it up and to my suprise, there was a set of black louvers installed on the side of the machine. Before I could ask the deal about them he said, "we went a head and...

    1st Ride Impressions

Do these machines have burn out chips installed in them? I know that my buddies Fire Kitty did. It limited the power and rpm for 1000 kms before he had full jam. But then again it might of been shy on power due to the fact that its Kitty Litter. :4STroke:

    EPI vs. Ulmer Clutching

The top speed that you could ever reach on the trails that I ride is about 65 mph; they are very winding and sweeping (not any real long straight stretches all in the woods). I realize that I will not be able to beat my friends Ski Doo 600 SDI on the top end, but I am hoping to smoke them...

    EPI vs. Ulmer Clutching

What do you get in the Ulmer kit for $115.00? What is the spring pressure and the flyweights value? I would like to compare it to the EPI kit. The EPI kit is about $79.00 Can. If it comes down to it I would rather spend the extra little bit for something that is going to work right. But I am...

    EPI vs. Ulmer Clutching

I have finally seen the light and given up on my grass roots two stroke Ski Doos and made my way to a 07 Phazer. In light of making the transition to smaller "cc" machine, I am thoroughly impressed with its abilities. Although this machine is fun to drive and great in the ditches, I am still one...
