just sold my attak and am going back to doo. I did not like the fact that it would not get on top of the snow, always wanting to trench a bit, and also the bottoming out of the rear suspension. the motor was great other than the annoying droning sound at lower speeds on tight rough trails (50km)
Same problem, let us know if the new helix helps. the only time I get on top of the snow is when I let off the throttle as soon as i ease back into it down it goes
My '07 attak also had one of the zerks not greased when I got it. I only rode a couple hundred km's max before greasing. I also had lots of water come out. I don't think it should be a problem as long as the water wasn't sitting in there too long.
Not sure if those have expandable memory, but my gps 76 (about 6 years old) doesn't and I can't even ride half a day w/o my trail at the beginning starting to get erased.
It is an sdi. I think they are actually only 118hp. Neither of ours have studs or anything done to them. 3800km on the renegade. No problems! After riding the attak for a long time, I jumped on the rev and I wasn't willing to get off! The seat is much more comfortable. The seating position is...
I rode 160km on my '07 attak yesterday. I'm still breaking it in. Half was under 6000rpm and half was under 8000 rpm. My son's '05 renegade and I filled up at the same time. I took 4 more litres than him. I got 17mpg(Can), 14mpg (US). Renegade got 19mpg (can), 15.8mpg(US). I was on all groomed...
45km on my '07 attak. The check engine light has come on a few times. I didn't know that there was a code # when it came on but now I finally saw it and it was 84 (Detecting conditions for T.O.R.S. are satisfied) I noticed that it only did it when I let off the throttle. Do I have a problem?
Not sure if all of you guys understood me. When I turn the key, it fires up right away, but then it dies right away. Does that once more and then on the third try, it stays running. This isn't even in very cold temps. I just meant when the motor is cold (first start of the day). It only has 30km...
I have 20mi on my '07 attak. I opened up the left side just to check it out. I noticed that when I grab the outside shieve on the secondary, I can move it in and out about 2mm. Is this normal? Also, what height is best to have the belt at?
I just bought a new '07 attak. I had a 600sdi renegade before (and still have) I had only ridden a 4 stroke sled once before- the phazer. I didn't like the engine braking. There was alot on the phazer. I was worried about it on the attak, but as soon as I rode it, I forgot all about the engine...
Thanks for the help. I have about 24km on it now. The light hasn't come on since 7km. Hopefully there's nothing wrong with it, but I'll check the coolant just in case.
I just bought a leftover attak. I put 7 km on it this afternoon and the engine light came on a couple times. I took it out again later on and I didn't see it come on anymore. I have 19km on now. What do you think the reason was/is?
