SO....I'm up north sledding for over a week. No issues until this past weekend. It's like -30 outside and the sled wont start. I just drove it into the gas station, turned it off, pumped the fuel, started it again to move it from the pumps while I wait for the rest of the crew, turned turned it off. That's where it sat for 3-4 hours until I figured out something with the relays.
One of the 4 relays above the left foot well goes to the fuel pump. If this goes bad, you won't hear the fuel pump kick in. My "big book" tells me it should be error code 50. I did not get that. So, what I did, was took the relay from the fan and swapped the two and then the sled started and ran fine the rest of the weekend. I wasn't concerned about the fan coming on in that cold of weather. 1 of the other relays goes for the headlights. One day last week, the headlight went out and then came back on. I replaced that relay as well.
Needless to say, I'm going to start carrying a couple of these with me at all times. 3 of the 4 are the same and 1 oddball. I'm carrying the 3 like ones. The exception is the headlight relay. Looks the same but has 5 wires going to it and the the other two ( FAN & LOAD ) which has only 4 wires.
I'm sure someone figured this out, but figured I'd post it for anyone who doesn't know.

Do you have any Yamaha Part Numbers, so when I go to my dealer, I know what I am talking about?
