Put the shock to its lowest setting. compress the spring(i have used cargo straps not the safetest or smartest thing cause they will slip) there is a clip that holds the spring seat inplace remove clip, seat and uncompress the spring. the spring is now free as a bird

if you go to http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/parts/home.aspx and compare the 2003 to the 2005 you can see what needs to be changed mainly it's fuel bowls and item 14,15,16 and 49

ok here is the deal i moved from Alaska where i rode at 800'-1600' to California where we start riding at 6200'
not sure when i did it but my 130 mj got removed and the 135mj got put in the carbs just found this out when i was cleaning my carbs yeah i know i am stupid for not having my a/g...

I have an Outerwears prefilter on the MPI filter and my vents are covered with the same material, you can get it by the sheet. keeps the snow out pretty good just wipe and go

Just got off the phone with Darrin and he said it common that these battery do not want to take a charge if the volts get really low. He explained that you have to cycle charge till you get 6-9 volts then they charge fine

well not sure why it drained the battery but i got a charge on it.
kept putting it on the charger would get maybe a .5 volt of a charge on it then the charger would give me a fault for an open cell. Repeated this till i got it over 6 volts then it charged all the way

I came here from alaska there I had no problem with the battery
where I live it is only about a 1-2 hour drive and we did that in alaska most of the time
Ok I seem to be having bad luck with these batteries
The first one when I installed the supercharger lasted 2 1/2 season and that is A little quick to go out but I left it installed ( on its side and it leaked the gel)and stored in a hot garage so that is my bad

i have not crossed more water than a creek on the rx-1 if there alot of open water i ride the v-max, alot cheaper to rebuild the smoker if i do sink it
now the not climbing as high concerns me but it is a mavrick track off of an Apex so not sure it could be much worse but i think...

Thinking of doing this as it will be the last year on this track but I run a MPI stage 1 S/C do not want to rip it apart before I can replace it
want to do 2 down the center just to keep snow out of the skid
