Apex is impressive!! After the shootout even more! It´s been so long after the SRX that Yammie has even been close in the shootout. FINALLY I say!
My V4 has the power what I need, but suspension isn´t that great! LOL And when I think about the same power in a hi-tech packagae like the Apex, it just might turn me to a 4-stroker.. IF I had the money!
My brother has a -01 SRX 700 with a longtravel front and skid. And I must say it has one of the best engines ever. Haven´t yet got a chance to ride new 150hp 4-stroke, but it has to take a lot to be better than the triple-triple in the SRX, or the 4-cyl in my V4. After reading all the great things about that 150FI, it just might have it all. I do hope so!

Ps. Tony, if you race any new 4-strokes on ice, post results. Here or to Vmax4.com.
Thank´s !

my brother has a 2001 SRX with hauck clutch, sxr suspension, new track with 192 gold diggers and bender racing exhaust. i still whoop him up in the fields with my bone stock apex, mines not even studded. off the line his sled takes me but after 30-40mph i start to pass. by 100 im long gone.

Tell him to take out the hauck clutch kit.Aftermarket silencers also slow down the srx.

I had 3 SRX's and My 03 RX-1 would have detroyed all of them. The biggest problem with the SRX was the Tracktion. I'm a drag racer. I could give a crap about Top MPH. Low ET's are what i'm interested in.
Yammi God has a nice running 02. However he's not going to like the Apex. They are quicker and faster then the RX-1. From what i'm told tony just barly beat guys in 2000 feet at the Airport last winter. The extra 10 hp and huge weight drop on the Apex is going to be huge.

DIGGLER, HOW ARE YA DUDE. FIRST ACCOUPLE OF THINGS AND THANK YOU ON MY NICE 02 COMPLIMENT. NOW FROM WHAT YOU WERE TOLD AND I KNOW WHO TOLD YA. FIRST LET ME SAY STORIES ALWAYS SEEM TO TAKE THE LONGGGGGGGGGG WAY TO THE TRUTH. FIRST OF ALL, I CRUSHED THOSE GUYS AT OUT AIRPORT. THAT FIELD IS 1/2 MILE LONG. AT PROBLEY 700 F.T. I DRIVE AROUND THEM LIKE THEY SHUT THE KEY OFF AND MIND YOU, THIS IS WITH THEM GETTING THE JUMP ON ME OUT OF THE HOLE. NOW, JUST SO WERE CLEAR, I RACED THIS SAME GROUP ON THE GRASS ALL FALL WITH MY VMAX 4 800 AND DESTROYED WORSE. ALSO DID RACE ONE OF THEIR NEW APPEXGT ON GRASS WITH VMAX 800, 3 SLED LENGTHS AND PULLING AWAY PRETTY EASY. NOW IF ANY OF THIS IS DISPUTED, I CAN HAVE SEVREAL PEOPLE POST HERE. IF THAT APPEX RUNS LIKE A GOOD SET-UP RX-1, AIN,T GONNA BE ENOUGH DUDE. SORRY!!! 3:16 (TONY)

LOL I like sauna, do you?
Tony has his stuff together. His 800 and SRX are good runners, mine on the other hand... Well, I don´t tune my sled that hard. I´m plannin to work on the cluthing more soon, with the help of YammieGod ofcourse.. I´m not saying that my sled is dog, far from it. But it still has some potential hidden.
Anyway, it´s nice to see that still after 10 years the old V4 gives trouble and more to the new sleds.
