I should have paid attention maybe I just waisted my money with my Bender porting, cold air kit and clutching. It was dead before I touched it and it went like a raped ape once I was done with it, until I wrapped it around a tree at an excessive rate of speed.

YammieGod, That's a pretty brave statement in cap type "Any four stroke". If that cap type means what I think it does, you should be more cautious, I do not like being hollered at. Do you ? 8)

Any sled that is poorly set up will not be a shining star...I'm not going to make excuses for you, you know your sled. If it was slow I'll believe you, and I'm sure it was fast after the work you did to it. The FACT still remains that the RX just didn't have the legs to run an SRX. I would still buy and RX over an SRX because the RX does more thing better but this is a "race" thread.....

Dude, so are we! And just so ya know, my 2002 SRX is 100% stock. In a 1/2 mile sno drag, 4-strokes have no chance. It's already been proved. Read this post. 4-strokes don't have anything for a SRX. Remains to be seen what the Apex does. Mike can't Wait! 3:16 (TONY)

stock srx on grass won't touch our Apex...it just won't. Ice I don't know how ours goes yet.

You know they all want to race you, Mach's, Poo's, Cat's, and Doo's, especially after the shootout results.

I remember you talkin that way when the SRX came out and you wanted to race the world with your V-max-4. Now your on an SRX and want to race the world again. In 5-6 years you’ll want to race the world with your Apex..lol

I find this both interesting and funny. The srx from day one established the rep of speed. Soon all other sleds were using the srx as the benchmark."your not fast till you can catch an srx".There will always be sleds have have the speed on different days but as this thread proves.There is a benchmark for speed.Its called srx. Catch me if you can and prove you are worthy of saying you are fast.lol

I won't right in caps so you guys won't think i am shouting at ya!!

First dotorc, this sled is set-up for snow drags on our 1/2 strip. it is 100% stock. now sure a 4 stroke can beat it, but has it happened, only couple times first year i got it. as far as grass i run a 95 VMax4 800 on grass, raced many 4 strokes this past fall with a 10 year old vmax 800. and these are set up by the way about has good has it gets before turbo, nos !!. and i believe one has nos!! we lost once !! all year. because my driver got terrible start. no way can they run with this VMax4. I am probably pulling 5-6 MPH on top against them. all my runs on gps. would love to run your Apex against my 800.

dano, cool response, thing here is for what i do, the VMax 4 and the SRX serve my purpose. i want to race. i have no desire to own a 4 stroke or trail ride 200 miles in a day. I do love the Apex gt, but the RX-1 well !!!!!!

and i must say i loved adding fuel to this post. when i saw it i had to responed. just bust,in on you 4 stroke boys. buster 696 knows me well and he knows i love the srx and vmax 4. anyways the appex gt has me inpressed. rx-1 never turned me on unless turboed !! i would say you appex gt ownwers will have a great winter. 3:16 (TONY)

Keep adding fuel!! Nothing wrong with alittle fun trash talkin' lol. I'm not one to take it too serious...I know we'd put the ole' V4 on the trailer...........

We also have a dead stock 95 V4. Incredible sled!
