I know this subject is beat to death, but would like to hear from guys who have done swaps, mostly is there a mono type skid that's a direct bolt in with no hacking involved, or least hacking needed, its for 121" track, and if somebody has one available please yell at me, wow untilled I hit some rough trails with this NON-PROACTION Skid I thought people where being too picket, I hope who ever designed this skid is no longer employed by Yamaha. Feel free to give your experience, not wanting to race just some give, thanks

All 121 mono skids use the same mounting points, so to answer your question there is no 121 mono that will bolt right into the pro action mount holes.
We developed the mounting plates to make the mono install as painless as possible.

I installed an M10 skid from a Polaris and it was very simple. Still uses the stock front mount and the stock rear brackets are used. You just have to move them ahead about 1.5" but there are already rivit holes on the inside of the tunnel to use as a guide so there is not even any measuring. Just drill them out and your mounting plates are exactly where they should be (almost like Yamaha was thinking of using this skid). Plus it is still a better skid than the mono IMO

The RX1 did not come with the M10. There is no sagging that I know of, in fact it will send the #*$&@ end up quite a bit higher and there is a lot more travel and adjustment.
