looking at my stock track with studs. It's a yamaha stock ripsaw 1 1/4 I think with lil taller studs. Amost hit rail pertecters now i'm thinking of long tracking with no studs but want to go with 1.75 track or so track do I really need the rails for the tunnel? Or how are they getting a bigger track under there? thanks mike
I put a set of 8 tooth drivers on my 2003 RX-1 and it gave me lots of clearance. It originally came with the 9 tooth.I would also recommend the extrovert drivers to stop the ratcheting and plus you can run your track a lot looser and makes it easier on the slide rails.By installing the 8 tooth drivers, you are changing the gear ratio and if you did not want to loose your top speed, you will have to change the gears in your chaincase. The 8 tooth gives you a really good bottom end pull but you will loose approx. 10 mph on top end.Hope this helps.Jeff
