04rxw10's Warrior Project

After calling around looking for 121-136 tip up rail extentions everyone only had the 121-144 tip up. I called Rock and he told me to call Bruce over at CB Preformance. After a short conversation he said he could do it I need to send him a rail and he could make me a set.

Thanks Bruce

Oh Man! Good Luck!

just walked in the door back with the shocks made it a family day while I can seems work is starting to take off big time here.

Thanks STAIN for the shocks was nice meeting you.

Will post pics of shocks when I start on my upgrades.

Let's get started

Finally had time to get to work on the sled today :jump: :jump:

Had to dig it out of the corner looks like it was being punished for the summer facing the corner like a my boy when hes been bad (thats been a lot lately)

Started off by putting on the Fox Floats I got from STAIN
Left side

Right

Looks like its ready to pounce on something (It wants to get out on the snow)

100_2213.jpg

With me putting on the apex seat with storage I don't need the toolbox up front so I removed it. Also makes it easer to access the wiring in the nose of the sled if something goes wrong.

100_2215.jpg

I put the reservoirs up front in the location of the toolbox so I could connect the air lines to the shocks.

100_2219.jpg

The one thing I didn't like about doing it this way was I had to drill a 1/2 inch hole in the side of the plastic to run the air lines to the reservoirs.

This is what the final install looks like.

100_2219.jpg

Now its off to put the Apex seat and tank cover on I got from UP Brett

Of course you need to unplug all the wiring to remove the handle bars.

100_2222.jpg

While I was at it I took a picture of the location of my YamaHeater from Rock at the bottom of the staring gate.

100_2223.jpg

I didn't take a pic of checking the exhaust donuts but now its ready for the seat.

100_2224.jpg

I like the looks of the seat on the sled.

Now I need to get the other parts coming to finish the upgrades it took a lot less time than I thought to get all of this done.

Nice post with a lot of great pics. You have to let us know how the Fox Floats work out for you. I just added a Apex seat to my Rage this summer as well. I cannot believe how much different the sled feels by just sitting on it. Did you have the seat and tank covered secured in your last picture? Just wondering as the front edge of the seat should be under the tank cover, but maybe you know that. Enjoy your new mods. G.B.

No everything is just resting there for the pic but all is well now.
I will let you know how the Fox Floats work when we get snow even if I have to haul it up to Hondo's house to ride. LOL

I figured that was probably the case. The blue strip seat looks great on your blue Warrior. What are you using for a bar riser with your new highier seat? I added Apex bars with a 5" Rox pivot riser and a 1" riser block. I wanted to stand comfortably with my new seat. If you didnt want to redo all of your wiring, have a look at my setup in the attached post.

My wiring is hid by a riser gator. http://www.jspowersports.com/riserneckcover.htm
In a driving rain, it would not fully protect the wiring and connectors. I am hoping it will keep most of the snow dust out. For $14 I figured I would give it a try. G.B.

I'm going to use the stoack bars and getting my riser from superman (lake effect snow) good looking product. Wanted to get 99% of my parts from TY members or site sponsors. Going with a 2 1/2" pivot with 4 1/2" riser for a total of 7" going to mix colors to give it my own look.

With the stock bars I was told it will give me the look of almost 9 inch's of riser. I have some trails around my house where both skis are rubbing trees on both side at the same time. I'm also thing of new skis anyone got any good suggestions for both on ans off trail mostly on trail around the house??

Look what the mailman brought me today. :bling
