hey luvr111, I appreciate your input, From what ive read on here is a lot of different stories on how there vectors run,,sounds to me like some run extremely well while others just run well, just trying to get a overall handle on em.... what works and what dosnt. I'm going to get the thing radared in a bit, to actually see exactly how she runs, so stay tuned!

I should have added that my Vec has an M10 which does drain about 10 mph off of the top end. ICGARA about top end but that's me!

The Vectors are definitely 100-mph sleds, but not much more. My wife's 05, our 1st Vector really shocked me when she left me on the lake when I was on my 02 SX. I caught up and passed, but it took awhile.
I've never radar-run my SX but Speedo has been at 185 Kilometers per hour (I'm Canadian) which is about 115 mph .. given the speedo's are usually out 10%, I suspect my Viper pulls 105 mph. The 05 Vector will stay pretty close behind.
I liked her sled so much I bought a 2011 LTX last year, brand New Old stock. Can't believe that it's only 10 hp difference. My LTX wipes the 05 RS and the Viper very quickly off the line. In fact, it must be the clutching combined with the EFI, but I leave my buddy's Apex as well as another friends Switchback 800 standing ... up to about 70-75 mph. Then they both catch up and pass. The LTX tops out at 165 KpH on the Speedo but I think it's a pretty true speed. I've never got it to climb past that, but it'll hold it for miles down a big lake
Lots of snap and hook-up for Corner to Corner in the Twisties, but that heavy front end with the torque braking makes me want my Vector back some days
