Have a 2006 Apex, 20,000kms all is good but it's getting increasing difficult to turn handle bars. I clearly need to somehow great the critical linkages. Where do you apply the grease, how easy is it to get to those spots?
There are 2 bushings on the column behind the gas tank, one near the fuse block, one behind the oil tank, several under the airbox and then the ski spindles.

Sounds like a bunch of work to get at each.
Yup it can be . All depends which one is giving you the trouble.
I have replaced the three bushings ( steering column and oiltank ones) to the oil lite style.
The one behind the fuse block is easy to grease.

Also... if you have it up on a stand, you'll see the rubber covers tend to bind up in the front when turning where they contact the steering rods. If you grease the rods where they go through the hole in the rubber covers it will make a big difference.
