06 Apex ER, Need more wind protection

You must have poor circulation ( reminds me of my wife). Never had a issue ride in Qubec and Norther Ontario . After riding many years I have also learned spend some money on a good Helmet. I have 2 a Ski-Doo Modular and a Cat ZX1 Modular is best but Cat helmet OK to ! I am sure the tall windsheild is best but don`t like the styling !

I agree, a GOOD helmet is worth the extra $'s - and add an electric shield. Then, a good (Cabela's Polar Tech) base layer (top and bottom), that is warm, light weight and not bulky. Sweater on top for cold days and add a good coat. Base layer only on the bottom under bibs, nice and roomy! No problems running with the short windshields, the tall ones are not my style either.
