- 2006 Yamaha Apex RTX
Hello all.
I have a very low mileage (3000 mi) 2006 Apex RTX with a cooling issue that is perplexing me.
When my sled heats up, the coolant expands in the coolant reservoir and the overflow goes into the recovery tank as expected. Trouble is, when the engine cools down, it does not suck the coolant back into the reservoir. I have replaced the thermostat, coolant tank cap, the connecting tubes, 90 degree bend and all clips between the two tanks trying to eliminate any air suction issues with no fix. Any thoughts?
Thank you.
