06 GT Ohlins shock?

Also the shock was leaking. "normal" for aged ohlins , they have a new design seal head for it and updated valving and settings they use for the shock now , hygear reccomends a "refresh" every year if you put on 1000+ miles as this mono set up takes alot of abuse
 

Maybe this is an old school train if thought , but a sled that's "jacked up" in the rear tends to loose more snow out the back flap and doesn't recirculate snow used for cooling and lube of th skid ??

Well, I prefer to have that extra 1-2 inches for suspension action. I'll let suspension handle suspension, and cooling handle cooling. Which is why I added the rear auxiliary cooler for this year. And Duponts last year to handle friction and wear.
