The sled was running great all season. Came back to camp shut the sled off now it will not start. You can hear the fuel pump cycle and when you turn the key you can hear one click that sounds like it is coming from down by the starter. Any one else have this same issue. thanks for any info.

Their is power I do belive. The gauge has power and we jumped the sled off another sled.

When you jumped it...did it start then? If so, then the battery doesn't have enough charge to crank it, but enough to power the gauge.

06 attak I'd bet money on the fuel pump relay. Can you hear the pump run at all when the key is turned on. Saw it happen on a 06 attak before. Maxdlx

when i had everything apart doing an oil/filter change i noticed that the lead wire from the solenoid to the starter had a good build up of corossion, took it all apart cleaned it and put it back together, had a higher cranking speed after all done. give this a check

I had this exact same thing happen to me 2 weeks ago and I posted the problem as the Starter Relay, which I found out yesterday was incorrect. The dealer took the starter out and said the magnets had delaminated and made a mess inside the starter, so a new starter is being installed.

I got the same click, the same fuel pump noise, and the same tach sweep, so I suspect you have the same problem with your starter. Jumping it obviously did no good either. It's an expensive part unfortunately.

Hope this helps.

ok listen ;;;;read carefully your starter relay work on negative - minus this mean your start switch need ground to work ...try this skin off the black wire and tap it to ground temporarly then try to start with the key....there is a pic of the ground splitter under the air box...to fix it ;;cut off and weld them together bye
