last weekend went to start the sled it was 10 below zero. Cranked for a bit before I realized the fuel pump wasn’t working. Warmed up the fuel pump relay pump then worked but the sled still wouldn’t start. Put the sled in the heated garage with a battery charger on it. After about 2 hours I hit the key the sled fired twice but still wouldn’t start. Came back a hour later and it started. Any idea what happened? Was thinking flooded but with the fuel pump not originally working that didn’t seem to make sense.
You can easily flood it when doing a cold start. When very cold keep that key turned in the start position. Even if it starts up. It may stumble and stall and if you don't keep cranking during this you will flood it.
