anyone using an exhaust temp ga.? what numbers should you get if probe is near donut at wye pipe. would adding baffles in the single pipe between the muffler & the wye cause too much back pressure & increase egt. ?

Not many are running an EGT, they are not the best system to monitor the AFR ratios in a 4stroke.
I would suggest you get a WBO2 wide band O2 sensor & AFR air-fuel-ratio meter. It will monitor your true AFR values in realtime. Basically it contains of a sensor installed in the exhaust tube, a gauge to display and control the computer where the sensor and gauge are connected.
If you're going turbo or SC later on a WBO2 system and a boost meter are mandatory.
