Good news:
The "W" arm/ suspension pieces are gonna be covered since it had been broke & re-welded + under warranty. Saved me close to $400 in the end
Bad news:
My shock guy calls Thursday night and says the rear shock shafts are pitted (didn't look so good when I pulled them anyways) so they're getting replaced with new for another $160 on top of the rest of the work. Hope it rides like a Cadillac!
...all I want for Xmas is an armored truck full of $$$$ in the garage!

How can a shock shaft pitt? Thought they were extreamly hardened and coated or plated? Is that common? I don't know i guess? Just wondering.

Glad to hear they are taking care of you upstate. I was ranting a bit too those of use that have been on the phazer forums for a while have heard a lot of whiners (not saying you are one) there is a guy on HCS that bitched for 2 years that he hated it and never had anything real to contribute. then he bought a skidoo last year and everyone was like thank go he will be gone but no he continues to get on every post that he can and whine about how bad his phazer was. So I wasn't realy directing my comments at you just venting a bit myself.

I know i whine too. My sled has never made me walk though. I've got into it with Hemi more then once, i'm sure you've read.

Maybe someday, but right now isn't an option + I haven't even rode it on snow yet to see if I'll like it (probally will though).
Question: How come there wasn't a rubber/ plastic boot to cover the front skid shock like the 'Cats & others have?
My shock looked like major dog
when it came out (oxidized & some little rust spots- yes it was pitted). Gonna try to put a 'Cat one back on it when it goes back in.spike337

Ice build up? Inefficient cooling? To cheap?
I spray mine down with WD-40 before i trailer it. I also use an old cover to go over my Yammi cover.I hate dirty equipment! I'd like one of those "Slush guards" for a single place trailer, but i can't find one anymore.

Single place aluminum.
I was thinking of the slush guards they use to have that was like a heavy tarp that just layed over the front of your sled.
I want an enclosed, and found one that has a fold out bed like a pop up camper has, which would be great for summer and my quad, but it's like 8 grand! it's 5 x 10 plus a little more from the V-nose, all aluminum and wieghs only 1180 lbs empty. I have a Toyota Rav4 with a 4 cyl, so i can't pull much, lol.
