I am planning on extending my 08 Apex with a ZX2 skid, the sled is a new leftover 08 Apex Gt with the electric Ohlins Shock. I was wondering what the value of the rear skid is, real world value - it will be removed as a new take off with 0 miles on it!! This is my first Yamaha and I am not up on the value of the parts therefore I might try it on ebay. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Matt

I would just have the rear shock revalved and extrend the mono.the zx2 is nice but you can get the mono to ride justy as well.i have sleds with both.This is only my opioin and im sure someone on here is say i have no idea what im talking about.the value on your skid is between $750-$1000 dollars.I believe that would be a fair price.shane

I aggree with srxpert - just get it revalved. Far less $$!! I was pondering a ZX2 too -- but after a revalve, I am happy with mine.
Sold the mono - replacing it with a 144 Expert X
