Have you guys read the write up on Maxsled.com about this sled? I'm wondering do you think this sled will have a harsh ride? Or do you think they just beefed the sled up?

How many people are going to buy that model and then BITCH next year that it is a stiff ride. I,m getting tired of people of who want to be a Rickey Racer, but have the ride quality of a Lazy Boy. May be this will be a good ramp sled for the idiot who put up that post a couple of weeks ago. This site is begining to sound like a bunch of old women at the hair dressers. :o| :o| :o| :o| :o| :o|

i agree with ^^^^^^^^^ it is going to be a ruff ride if you think you can soften it up you are wrong it will be stiffer that the 08 rtx garunteed!

It is really funny to see so many people buy what "looks cool", and then watch them putter down the trail and drag their boots in the parking lot. Buy the sled for the way you ride. Why do you think they make so many models!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o| :o| :o| :o|

Might be a little harsh but its true. I don't think the 08 Nytro RTX was too stiff. After I played with the thing I've found it to be the coolest, funest, sled I've ever owned. All this bitchin we heard about the Nytro I just can't figure out. There is no sled I would rather ride than a Nytro. I wasn't planning on buying a 09 but after hearing rumors of this "SE" I might be adding another sled to the stable. I'll have a better grasp after 4 o'clock. Yes I think it will be more big bump capable or stiffer than the 08 RTX. I'm looking forward to Mr. Sleds and the TY crews review of this sled.

;)!

I could have not said it better myself. This is also why the Floats get a bad rep. They don't work good when they are turned down.

I bought the fx & after some skid tuning I got it to work very well. Looking back I should have bought the RTX. Gonna be tuff to decide between the XTX & the RTX -SE. The canuck pricing might keep me on the 08 fx tho which won,t be a bad thing.

Pretty much the same thing I was thinking! I really like my nytro rtx, just really gave me the best of both worlds, bump friendly and trail manners.

I'm pretty interested in the SE. I didn't realize my standard Nytro was going to come set up so soft. The rear skid was so soft that it was unrideable in the big bumps. I would have been better off buying the RTX but the front floats weren't a selling point to me.

I wonder what the SE is going to run?

My rear shock is definitely going for re-valve this off-season. I'm hoping I can have it valved in stages where the last 25% of travel is much stiffer than the first...

Anyone have experience with this ? Sorry, I guess I sort of hijacked.

Yes, Welding subframes. Changing/revalving shocks etc etc.... Id love a set of shocks from the SE but I bet they are still bad inside like the RTX shocks and need a revalve. Way to much lowspeed and to little highspeed dampening...
