09 nitro won't idle

dealer replaced the intake air sensor but no help. runs great above 25 mph. back fires and dies in the curves below 25 mph.
 

The only code that ever came up was the intake air sensor. That's why the dealer changed it. But that had no effect on the issue.
 
Make sure the throttle cable has proper free play. Check the idle control solenoid (ISC) and the throttle position sensor for proper operation in the diagnostic mode (see FAQ for diagnostics). Removing the gas tank will allow access to the ISC, MAP sensors and vacuum lines on the throttle body to check for leaks. With the tank off it's a good time to replace sparks plugs and check/replace exhaust donuts with the copper version if not already done.

Thanks for the information. Sounds like a lot to look for but it has to be done. Not a lot of fun to ride like it is.
