thinking of running a studded cobra track next year. want to know if 120/144 1.45's will fit down the middle with no problems.

anyone run 1.45's on their nytro??? If so, did you have to add material to the front heat exchanger protectors??

I ran those in my Apex and worked very well without problems.. Can't see why it would be an issue on a Nytro as it has more clearance.

The stock driver is a 9 tooth/2.52 pitch. Two guys I ride with have 08' RTX's and ran 1.325" studs. They had a few marks here and there, not on the exchanger but other flanges around it. These were stud boy and Woody's studs. I think you could get it to work but I would check and shave down any interference areas before the studs do it for you. Worst case maybe add a 1/8" strip to the protectors.

I ran 1.45 Woody's studs for 1,000 miles this season with no issues. Just make sure your track tension is set correctly and you shouldn't have a problem.

Track Tension

If I add the extrovert drivers to run the track a little loose are studs going to be a problem? These clearance issues are really starting to have me concerned.
