In some mag last season, it said that the Vector that Yamaha raced in snowcross was putting out 130 hp, and that the motor was stock except for the switch to flatsides. Did anyone else see this? Does anyone have any infro, or done this to thier Vector? Any comments would be appreciated.

If so... why wouldn't they put the flatslides in there in the first place??? They did with all their two strokes.

I have not found the original article, "YET" but I will. Here is another article, In the Nov. 2006 Amereican Snowmobiler, on page 15 they talk about Jesse Strege's Nytro snowcross sled, the one he raced at Eagle River last year......Guess what.....Flat side carbs.
