O.K.
Yamaha has quite a few 1000cc sleds,
Ski-Doo makes a 1000 cc sled,
just saw the new Arctic Cat F-10 ( 1000 cc )

Do you think Polaris will introduce a 1000cc sled?

Only four "performance" sleds from Polaris for 2007? two 600's, one 700 ( Dragon), and one fourstroke 750 (FST) Where are their 800's, their 900's, and I'm suprised that they didn't come up with a 1000 like all three of the other manufacturers.

They dropped the 900's because of all the problem's in 05 the 06 sales for the 900 where really low according to supertrax magazine.

Personally I think they are pulling back the throttle and aren't looking to regain the top spot. Too expensive with the deep pockets of Bombardier and Yamaha to contend with. I think they will be concentrating more on their Victory line of motorcycles. If you haven't seen the new line yet and you like bikes they warrant a look. Really nice :bling

Last I checked, Bombardier had nothing to do with sleds. Unless they bought it back?
I assume you're referring to the attached announcement with your wonderfully valuable and informative post.

In the announcement, the "B" in BRP still reads Bombardier so it would appear that Bombardier still does in fact have something to do with sleds.

Back on topic, it would be my guess that Polaris has cut back their product offerings to get their quality under control. They've had a couple bad years in a row with certain products and they need some "wins" in '07 to make a comeback.

While you won't see me on a Poo, I'm guessing the '07 machines will give their owners a whole lot less grief than in the recent past.
