I am installing the the OEM Yamaha aux 12v socket on a 2009 Nytro FX can someone tell me where the mating plug for the aux 12v socket is. This is supposed to be a plug and play install but I cannot seem to find the factory female end .Thanks

What year sled do you have...08's did not have the plug in and need to be hard wired...09 and up is located on the left side above the head ( in that area )...NLVMAX has a thread in te 4stroke garage section..pretty sure he has pics of the location.

look on clutch side by the headlight support it will be a white plug with a cap on it take the cap off and it will plug right in. Hope this helps

On the clutch side right under where the 12 v socket is the wire is there with a white cap over the plug. Have to take cap off

Found it >> The easy way to see/find it is take the left radiator support off by removing the 4-10mm bolts, the rad will stay in place . Remove the plug blank , plug in the male 12v plug and wiretie the wire away from the rad. Thanks again for the help

I heard all Nytros are not the same and some have that plug and some don't. Any truth to that? I too will install a 12v socket.

Most 08's dont have the plug, but a few do so i am told. all 09's and newer have the pigtail.

I looked around for a good five minutes when I installed mine. Took off the clutch side body panel and it was right there...
