I bought a 12 v plug from radio shack, $8.95 I think. I really did not want to drill a hole in the sled where you could see it and I want the dash space for gauges later. Looking around I found a spot under the hood perfect for the 12v plug, check it out. Right between the lights is hollowed out area, drill a 1 1/16" hole and snap it in. I wired it right to the bat so i could use the gps or cell phone without the key.

I wired mine into the blue/white wire in the instrument cluster harness so that I would only have power when the engine is running.
