I see Tracks USA makes a 4in rail extension kit for the 06 Yamaha's. Has anyone tried this?

Ran Camoplast 9953H (15 x 128 Ripsaw) for 600 miles last season with Tracks USA rail extensions and it worked great.

will be installing that extension setup on my 06 apex. I got good reviews and feedback on the same topic.

Actually, the new phazer track could work well too. It is still a 121 but it is 14" wide.

going to a 13.5" is going to make you slked have ton's of inside ski lift.Do as srxspec said go 15"x128"

Mr.Pumpgas, did you ever get that 128 track studded on your Mach?

Yes, seemed to work very well with no ski-lift. However I think on an Apex it could be problem in the corners? What do you think?

I think without a different sway bar it would be an issue. With a stiffer sway bar it might be a nice set up. If you think about it, the rails and outside wheels are really the balance point. The 3/4" of track hanging over out side the wheels with no support I can't imagine would do a ton. Like your Mach, if you keep with outside wheels on, I would think it would work out good. Did you Mach feel any tippier? What gains do you think you got with that track vs the standard 15x121?
ALso, not sure if you need a tunnel extension for your RTX with that track.
Have you run the Mach and the RTX side by side both on spray yet?
Last, was the RTX running the ripsaw or a 1" track the last time we rode? JP seemed to think it was a 1" with 1.325" studs. I can't believe I didn't catch that.

Hard to say on the gains, however I would bet at least 3-5mph which is pretty good. The celonoid on my dad's nos went bad so we never got a chance to touch them off on spray. He is running a 1 inch hacksaw though with 1.325 studs.
I agree with you on the ski-lift I think it can be corrected if properly addressed with that sway bar and running wheels on the outside. I will let you know, BTW you dont need a tunnel extension.
