Well just got back from the TY ride in Houghton..

Anyways..

Before i went up there i installed a 13mm swaybar from pioneer performance and removed the lower 10mm transfer rod washers and replaced them with 5mm washers (supposed to reduce decelleration weight transfer) and i aligned my skis so they were only .50 out! and loosened the front springs by 4 turns each side!

Hey Brian, What is your fully extended spring length after you adjusted them?

Bob, Forgive me if the washer question got answered. They are talking about the rear skid transfer rods just in front of rearmost wheels. They both have a 14mm bolt and a white nylon washer. If you change the thickness of those washers it will benifit your transfer. Happy new year, Gordon :flag:

When I had my 03 RX-1 I changed the sway to a 12mm & added longer links. The change in handling was remarkable & there was no deterioration in ride quality - even in the uneven stutter bumps. With this experience I had the dealer put the 13mm sway on my 05 RX-1, & I'm glad I did!! My early impression is that it rides better & handles better than my son's Rage!
