Anyone gotton to use the 13mm swaybar i recommended??

it made a world of difference on my 05 RX ...to go to a 13mm....I am really not sure on how much it would change going to a 12mm.

Just did a hundred miles with the 13 mm sway bar on for the first time,i can't believe what a differance it makes, stays much flatter in the turns, and the front end seems to have a more solid feel to it that i like alot.very happy with this mod . :yam: :4STroke:

Oh my gawd!!! I just took my first ride with the 13mm sway, upgraded 04 links, and 2.3kg/in straight rate springs and I cannot believe the difference. I can now sit in place and WOT and kick the sled into a 180 without the fear of tipping over!!!

The sled is completely transformed. It feels like new again with the ability to hit the throttle and swing the rear end around and not fear the front end would lift and nearly flip. I also don't have to hang the rear end out on fast corners like before!!

One more thing in Minneapolis/St.Paul we have over 6-8 inches of fresh powder. Finally :D :D

Can't wait to get out in the morning.

What a great upgrade. What are the rest of you waiting for? For the 03' sleds there is no better upgrade.

I couldnt agree more...

Here's my take on the 13mm bar...

#1) Just an FYI.. my 11mm bar was bent. I didn't know about that until I removed it. About 15 degrees off straight, must have bounced a link on a rock.

#2) When cruising like a geezer, 13mm bar makes no difference, it pushes or ski lifts just like with an 11mm bar.

#3) When crazyass into corners (juice it into corner from a slower speed), then it really forces the outside ski down, rails, track spins out, etc.

Conclusion; If you want to notice the difference, you've gotta corner like you MEAN IT.

Yea LB, I know what you mean. I was hoping it was a panaciea. I live in an area with a lot of twisty narrow trails. on weekends when the tourists arrive the trails get really beat and as much as I love this sled, I have to say that it's weight can tire you out. This 05 corners fine if you muscle it through the corners using a lot of body english. After a full day of riding with the boys (revs), it's hard t keep man handling it. It's a lot better up in northern Ontario... If I ever get the monoshock dialed in for my weight, it may not be so much to handle. Bottomng out all the time wears on you.

Would you upgrade to a 12mm?
