You change the oil at end of season to rid the engine of acids and corrosive elements in the used oil. I also HIGHLY recommend a filter and oil change after 500 mi breakin.

I see that the Phazer uses the same oil filter as the FX Nytro. Is anyone using a longer oil filter on the Phazer? Lots of room for a longer one.
