I agree with most on here. It's probably a couple different minor things adding up. It's a good thing I like a challenge lol

I just know the higher the speeds the more important it is for everything to be perfect. On a wfo run it makes a difference on how you are tucked in behind the windshield and where you sit etc. where at lower speeds it doesn't matter.
Very true..I agree on that.
But still, your Sidewinder shouldn't be hitting a wall at 100 mph period!! I'm going to stand by my call that it's not your track/drivers doing that. It's something else in my opinion. With 205 hp on tap...it should still be able to muster well over 100 mph on any type of trail(unless busting powder of course).
Let us know what you end up finding to be the culprit.

Check all your hoses to and from turbo,Been at TD found the routing to be off on a few,and it caused the boost to be down on boosted sled, not sure if it will be as big a problem on stock boosted sled or not,but like you, this would drive me nuts to see an ape pass the winder.I just know the higher the speeds the more important it is for everything to be perfect. Boost and vacuum hoses are correct. I will get into manifold clamps etc as time permits.

Exactly!! I'll tell you what, if any stock Apex's pass my new 2018 Sidewinder this coming winter...I will have that thing back to the dealer so fast! And if they can't find the problem...I'll trade the thing in on the spot!!! And I'm coming off an Apex(and it was a great machine..and very quick and very fast). But it was outmatched in top speed by my buddies Cat 1100 Turbo's. And the sidewinder is said to be able to take those stock 1100 cat sleds.
So No way a 160 HP sled, should pass a state of the art 205 HP cutting edge monster like the Sidewinder..it shouldn't even be close; especially when you're paying 16 thousand dollars plus for the thing!!

I wonder how much of this is the Speedometer difference vs actual speed? The speedo is very accurate on these sleds and suspension so good it does not feel like 100mph+. Then again I do think a Apex is less affected by poor speed conditions such as loose wet snow than this chassis.
