I have a 02' 700 MM. I've noticed I've been using more oil than needed. I opened up the air box and there's excess oil at the bottom.

Question is...is there an adjustment or is the pump toast?

Thanks in advance.

Attached to the motor should be the oil pump. Just follow the oil lines from the tank. However, oil in the air box is not uncommon. You could probbly lean out the oil a little with no issue but realize you are taking away the engine lube. Take away to much and poof. So I would be extremely careful in how much you reduce it. I don't believe that the oil in the air box will be eliminated. It's likely coming from turbulance or a back presure from the carbs.
