I have a 2000 600 Grizzly and I noticed last night that I was getting a mist of gas comming out of the carb overflow. Also I filled up the gas tank and it too about $16.00 and I only got about 100kms out of it. Does that sound right.

If you were riding slow or working it they will get the carb hot enough to boil the gas. My 2000 600 would do that on occasion. Usualy a good blast of speed will burn out the heated gas and it will return to normal. Mine would usually get around 16mpg, sometimes less depending on how hard I would ride it.

Your mileage does seem a little low as I could get around 75 miles per tank riding on old roads. Maybe the float is a little high in yours.

Another thought, is your rear brake set to tight?

It didn't happen very often for me just when climbing in low range or sometimes plowing snow. I just lived with it.
