I have the same rivet gun from princess auto. It is cheap but it actually works really good.

Me too, good gun for the money and even better when on sale.

I bought the princess auto one as it fits in places better than the big daddy one does. both work well but I prefer the air one. much easyer on the hands.

Not to hyjack the thread but are the rivits on the running boards of an FX nytro yamaha rivits as well? I am planning on taking the grips on the edges off and having them undercoated.

These Yamaha tunnel rivets are Avdel "Stavex" rivets. They are the exact rivet Yamaha uses. I buy them locally from Applifast here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Applifast sells fastners to aerospace and other manufacturing industries. They sell only in boxes of 100 or more. I bought some last week and they cost $0.23each. After tax it was under $30. Go on Avdel's site or to your local hardware store and ask for the rivet by name. The big box stores do not sell them, even Fastenal does not sell the. These rivets are far superior to any over the counter rivet. As for rivet guns an air riveter is well worth the $. Harbour freight or Princess auto usualy sell them for 50 to $75.
