Someone has mentioned to me about a problem with the Jack shaft bearing seizing, is this an issue, and if so, what is the solution?
thanks

My jackshaft bearing went at about 5500 miles, took out the speedometer pickup along with it.
These bearings were press fit and have a tendency to walk out of their seat in the bulkhead over time. The '04s have a locking collar to prevent this and I put one on when I changed the bearing.
Also good to grease all the bearings in the drive system a few times a year.
