I'll throw this out early, any interest in a TY ride in the Elliot Lake, or SSM area in the 05 - 06 season?

I would be interested if the ride was more east. New Liskeard, Timmins, Sudbury, Cochrane....any of these areas.

I was hoping we can get something together for an Ontario ride next season. Count me in!

Of course.....you guys know I'm in for sure!
Doesn't matter where for me....as long as it's North.....North Bay or Sudbury going North from there is fine. Starting in Wawa may even be an option.

If someones coming thru thunder bay I would be willing to come with them and pay for some fuel.n stuff. Prolly the only way i could come is if I tag along with some TYer.

Wawa area would be great, can't be further than Big Bay by car and I've done that from SE Michigan.

If near the end of January and starting in Wawa, I could probably swing that trip.

well mikey, if we went to wawa we could pick you up. We live in Fort Frances so like 3 hours west. That is if we go. We have a 3 place inline.

OK guys - we can star in Wawa and take a 3 day circle tour (Wawa-Hornepayne-Manitouwadge-White River-Dubreuiville-Wawa). If this is the choice plan on minimum 330Km (200miles)/day. This will not leave a lot of time for sight seeing and is not for the faint at heart! Last year during the SSM-Wawa-Chapleau-Elliot Lake -SSM trip (about 800 miles/4 days) we hit a snow storm out of Wawa to Dubreuiville- it was dumping about 12"/hr and took us almost 4 hr to travel that small section because we couldn't see the trail!! (But what a blast in the powder) Also the 4-stroke Yama's should not have a problem with the paucity of petrol stations - but most 2-strokers will have to carry extra fuel. Also it gets colder than Hades up there - this ain't the UP!
If we go we'll have to carry our own luggage unless we can find someone to drive from town to town with our luggage & trailer (with extra sled and tools for spare).

Set a date and if I can get the time off I will be there. Spent a week in Wawa 3 yrs. ago and would LOVE to go back. Except for the above mentioned snowstorm 200 miles a day should be NO problem. Sobfrogg, I live just west of Rockford and if possible, we could go together. If you make the TY ride in January we can meet there and make some plans. Or just PM me if that works for ya! I regularly run 200 miles a day around Tomhawk and more than that when in the UP. Love those WIDE OPEN trails in Canada. Skidooboy can get us trail passes much cheaper if we buy early. The bulk of the money goes to the local club he belongs to up there to help with trail grooming and maintenance. Late February is better for temps , but ANY time is OK.
